Importance of the route

The wonderful Spanish countryside and the famous Bardenas Reales Desert will be the goal of our trip: to learn a little more about the Spanish countryside in the east of the Iberian Peninsula: its wonderful traffic-free roads, its towns, its people, its castles, its mountains, its fields, and even its deserts. As we mentioned, we will visit the Bardenas Reales Desert (a Natural Park declared a Biosphere Reserve).

Leaving behind the beautiful Morella and the Maestrazgo region, we’ll arrive at the Bardenas Reales desert, where we’ll discover breathtaking landscapes…

We’ll head back south, crossing the Jiloca region, and continue southwest to delight in the beautiful Albarracín and its famous Muslim walls, where we’ll spend the night. The next leg will take us to Cuenca, where we’ll enjoy its famous Hanging Houses, its gorges, and the unusual karst landscape of the Enchanted City.

We’ll end the trip by returning to Valencia, but not before passing through a beautiful nearby region full of vineyards.

This Experience is fantastic because 90% of the route runs along quiet secondary roads, perfect for a motorcycle trip, visiting the Bardenas Reales and its unique landscapes.

Of course, remember that, as we are inveterate foodies and gourmets, on this Experience we’ll also visit the best restaurants to taste the best typical dishes of the area, all washed down with the finest wines… Mmm!
