We would like to present to you THE THOUSAND – Classic BMW Rally
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the production of the first BMW R 75/5 at the Berlin plant, we invite you to celebrate with us by holding a rally (with obligatory pass points) specially developed for BMW motorcycles of over 25 years. The rally stretches from the Mediterranean coast, starting in Denia, over the Portuguese Atlantic coast to Sesimbra.
A rally without time or speed controls and for all audiences. Participants will be able to enjoy dreamlike places, thanks to the geographical diversity of Spain and Portugal. We will cross the Iberian Peninsula from east to west, choosing the best secondary roads and the most fun mountain passes. Thousands of curves, mountains and marvellous forests, unique populations, medieval castles, and in general very little traffic await us.
In addition, all those registered will have access to a quick assistance service by a BMW mechanic with a stock of basic parts and spare parts (clutch cables, spark plugs, pads…), in order to solve any mechanical incident at the roadside.
On top of that, the Rally also features gastronomic and cultural highlights. You will be accommodated in the best hotels available along the Rally and dinners will be in restaurants especially selected for their local products and quality. During the daily breakfast, we will have a short briefing of the stage of the day. During all the stages we will have picnics prepared in a way point stipulated in the road book. As for the culture, it’s worth highlighting that the rally will run through areas that are former Arab kingdoms, so we will enjoy walled cities and medieval castles, some of them famous for appearances in the world of cinema or television (think Game of Thrones!).
Oh, and let’s not forget about the prizes. Thanks to our sponsors, the top ranked participants will receive prizes such as helmets, tyres, BMW spare parts, La Poderosa Saddlebags…
The organizing company is negotiating a collective transport with departure in different countries to facilitate the transfer of its vehicles to the participants. That way, everyone can travel by plane and make the most of their time.
The Rally will consist of five complete stages adding up to about 1400 km, breaking down to less than 300 km per day.

INCLUDED IN THE EXPERIENCE
- Transfer from Valencia airport (for groups of more than 8 participants also to Alicante airport, free of charge) and from Lisbon at the end of the Rally

- Saturday March 28, Fifth stage, Zafra-Sesimbra. 320km, Hotel in Setubal
- Sunday March 29, Delivery of the motorcycles to the transport company headquarters & Airport transfer.
MOTORCYCLES TRANSPORT
Price of transport from Germany. Pickups and deliveries in Berlin, Regensburg and Stuttgart at a point to be specified. The negotiated price is for a complete truck, so the number of Motorcycles:
- From 30 to 35 motorcycles: € 485 (round trip by motorcycle, taxes included)
- From 25 to 30 motorcycles: € 580 (round trip by motorcycle, taxes included)
- From 20 to 25 motorcycles: € 725 (round trip by motorcycle, taxes included)
